Leo is the title of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s upcoming movie which was announced a few days ago as – Thalapathy 67. Joining hands together again after the success of Master, the fans are excited about this collaboration. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy.
The screenplay is co-written by Kanagaraj, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy, while the story is brought to the screen by cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa. The film’s music is provided by Anirudh Ravichander. The cast of the action crime mystery film includes Thalapathy Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Priya Anand, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan and others.
To reveal the title of the film, the makers have revealed a Bloody Sweet Promo, which is essentially a song performed by Anirudh Ravichander & Siddharth Basrur. But if we look at the director’s history, he often released a special promo prior to the film’s release and it may or may not be related to the movie many times. He did the same thing for Kamal Haasan’s Vikram.

The promo starts off in a picturesque mountain location, where in an isolated cabin is a chocolaterie. We see a room full of cocoa and chocolates, while the back side of Thalapathy Vijay is seen. He is essentially making chocolates as we see some more close-up shots of chocolate being made and in the background, the lyrics say, “I’m fireproof, there’s nothing you can do. So run away, cause I’m here to stay.”
Simultaneously the same scene is projected to a dark room where the actor is seen making a sword instead. There’s a scene of a number of cars carrying masked men, is driving up in the mountains, presumably looking for Vijay’s character. Meanwhile, the actor is working with fire and chocolates in the same manner.
The noteworthy moment is when both aspects of his character come together and he dips the sword in the chocolate to cool it down. As he pulls the sword out of it and in the air, he takes a tinge of taste and says – bloody sweet. Also, the masked men in cars are seen right in front of him. Another thing to note is the coin that has the title of the film, it could also indicate Vijay’s character having two sides like a coin.

Leo will be released on 19th October 2023 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
