Marvel Studio’s new film is coming to theatres soon, and the Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania prediction theories have already started brewing. Which is why we have compiled five characters expected to make an appearance in the film. This will be the first movie kicking off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and just like WandaVision being the first in Phase 4, this project is predicted to create some waves in the cosmos.
Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Jonathan Majors, Kathryn Newton, Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas, alongside other cast members. The film is directed by Peyton Reed and will be produced by Kevin Feige and Stephen Broussard, while Jeff Loveness joins the crew as the screenplay writer.
Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania Prediction Theories
Loki and Sylvie
The trickster god is first on the list predicted to appear. With Kang in the mix and things going to hell at the TVA, it is quite possible that the war employees were preparing for is the one we see in the trailer. Since we are still in the main timeline at this time and haven’t jumped any, it is highly probable that we will see Loki come in, possibly along with Sylvie. We essentially have no idea where the TVA is, it could be in the Quantum realm, which after seeing Kang’s city, makes a lot of sense.
Killing He Who Remains was just the first step in making sure Kang could take over, at least Sylvie might have escaped to find out that things have gone haywire because of her decisions. Loki is available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
Shang-Chi
In the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings post-credit scene, we see that his rings have been sending a signal, pulsating. According to Bruce Banner and Wong, this means that there is some kind of summon that these rings work on. They’re not from this world and older than a couple of hundred years. Seeing the rings come up in the new Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer, gives some indication that we might see this character summoned by the pulsating signal. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
Wong and Doctor Strange
While Shang-Chi may still not make an appearance, the Sorcerer Supreme, Wong, would surely be given a heads-up about the multitude of natural laws pushed down the drain. A device that communicates with the Quantum realm should show up on their radar as something going wrong. Additionally, Wong’s presence around the Ten Rings definitely gives us some hope that he might be there in the film, starting to ward Earth against an attack by Kang.

Doctor Strange is currently in the dark dimension chilling with Dormammu, it is entirely possible that the multiversal incursion has made its appearance on his radar. While he may not be able to get to the quantum realm, he could be getting the news of an all-out war and a new threat entering Earth. Strange has been a part of two multiverse storylines, including his own and the Spider-man debacle.
It is entirely possible that he would want to find out what is happening with the barriers within the universes suddenly weakening and things in this timeline going haywire (like his third eye-opening?!) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
The Marvels
As Carol Danvers travels across the universe, looking at the different planets, perhaps there are certain changes coming in the universe that citizens of other planets have picked up on. Additionally, with her presence close to the rings, she might realise that the bangle Kamala Khan wears has similar properties to them. If they’re both pulsating, there is something incredibly wrong with the universe, and there is something big coming to attack them. Captain Marvel, Ms Marvel and WandaVision are available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
The Fantastic Four
According to some theories online, it was floated that Cassie may have been working with the Fantastic Four or at least Reed Richards to come up with the machine that she uses to send a signal to the Quantum Realm. If that is true, we may be getting a first look at Earth-616 Fantastic Four. Marvel is known to be secretive about their characters, while our William Jackson Harper as Reed Richards theory died hard, there may be some secret casting that hasn’t been revealed yet.
With so many characters in the MCU, it is expected that whether or not these characters show up, there may be some new characters introduced. Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania comes to theatres on February 17, 2023. Who are you expecting to see in the new movie? Let us know in the comments below.
