Teen Wolf The Movie Twitter Review: Fans Are Fuming At the Major Unprecedented Twists

Teen Wolf The Movie premiered on January 26, 2023, in hopes of one again picking up the pieces of the show we love to this date. However, this is one such series where the characters precede the story itself, and have also been the reason for its raging success over its six seasons of TV run. The latest comeback stars Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, Colton Haynes, and Shelley Hennig, Dylan Sprayberry alongside others.

Creator Jeff Davis puts the pack back together against a new fierce nemesis that draws Scott’s pack back to Beacon Hills, except for a few characters who also happened to be the some of the best ones throughout the entire course of the series. As was well announced in advance, Dylan O’Brien, our favourite baseball bat-wielding best friend next door aka Stiles didn’t return for the severely anticipated movie, nor did loveable and intriguing Kitsune Kira Yukimura played by Arden Cho.

While the reasons for the former not joining the remaining original cast is still up for debate, the same for the latter had been made known a long time back and led the fans down an infuriated path due to her not being paid equally as the other actors on the panel. The rage didn’t die down, and things have gotten way out of hand ever since the movie premiered on Paramount+.

It’s better to skip this story if you haven’t watched the film yet because major spoilers cover the path ahead. On the other hand, the same number of reactions may also be a cautionary warning as to why you shouldn’t watch it either. It was quite expected and obvious that Stiles and Kira’s absence would ring heavy on this project especially since the storyline follows the same Nogitsune lore which was introduced back in Season 3B, the same season in the long-running series that gained a top spot in the fan-favourite list.

Teen Wolf The Movie reactions
A still from the trailer.

There’s a reason why that particular instalment still charts the highest among all entries of the season and the fans have been severely disappointed with the result of the recently released movie that completely tarnishes the legacy of that season. A major character death further pushed everything down the drain, and it looks like one of the most loved ships i.e. Stydia (Stiles and Lydia) has also given rise to endless streams of tears.

Probably the only good news, this action supernatural flick had to offer is to the Scallison (Scott and Allison) fans, but that too can never compensate for the other paramount losses and dismays caused by this premiere. What started out as a cause for a happy reunion for the original fans has now turned into a nightmare and as what fans call it, “a downgrade”. Here are some of the Twitter reactions for the movie.

Reactions to Teen Wolf The Movie

Teen Wolf The Movie is now streaming on Paramount+, while the previous six seasons of the franchise are available on Paramount+, Netflix, Prime Video.

  1. Shamefull you didn’t do a single quote from a Stydia fan as an example. Stiles and Stydia trended. Nothing else did. That says it all.
What’s happening is based on your tweets. Actual trending were only Stiles and Stydia
