Urusei Yatsura Episode 13 Review and Recap – Know Your Fated Partner
Episode 13 of Urusei Yatsura is here, and we are back again with another review. Today’s episode showcased two different storylines that are not interconnected. The first half was about a battle between the students and the teachers in Ataru’s school.

The students of the school do not eat at the designated place they should, instead, they go to outside shops where they can have different meals every day. This is entirely against the rules, and the teachers have a secret meeting together to think of a way to counter this.
In this meeting, the teachers decided they would set various checkpoints in front of different eateries so that they could catch the students red-handed. But it is not that easy, as this conversation was heard by another student. He then goes to his class and informs everyone, including Ataru, who is the president of the class.
The students accept the challenge and prepare themselves for the battle. Sadly, there is an impostor among them, and yes, it is Mendo who is a member of the Covert Civility Patrol whose sole goal is to uphold the rules.
This part was indeed hilarious, and the comic punches landed pretty well. The next segment is better with its jokes, and the best part is we also get to see Ten here.
In the next half, we see Ten having a blast with all the beauties of this anime. In a quaint cafe, he is surrounded by Lum, Sakura, Shinobu and Ran. They take turns in feeding him and treating him like the cute baby that he is.
Ataru, on the other hand, is outside the window spying on them and thinking to himself, why does a child like Ten, be so popular with the girls with whom he wants to hang out?
In this get-together, we learned some new information about Sakura. Her fiance is a dark magic user who has studied abroad, and she carries their picture everywhere. That is when Ten recommends a special gadget to the girls. With this gadget, one can see their fated future husband, and he orders it so that everyone can use it.

Hell breaks loose when all get unexpected results and quarrel amongst themselves for it. It is only later we realise that the results were indeed wrong and it was the mistake of the device.
Verdict
All in all, this was another fun watch that supplies lighthearted comedy and limitless entertainment. I would definitely wait for the next episode to come out next week. Watch the anime on HIDIVE if you haven’t yet.
