Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves Poster and Behind the Scenes Video Released, Watch Inside

Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves is an upcoming fantasy adventure which is set to be released next year. The film is directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Gilio. Based on Hasbro’s Dungeons & Dragons and will follow an original cast of characters as they attempt to steal a priceless artefact.

The official synopsis of the film reads – A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.

The cast of the film includes Chris Pine as Edgin the Bard, Michelle Rodriguez as Holga the Barbarian, Regé-Jean Page as Xenk the Paladin, Justice Smith as Simon the Sorcerer, Sophia Lillis as Doric (a tiefling Druid), Hugh Grant as Forge Fitzwilliam the Rogue, Chloe Coleman, Jason Wong as Dralas, Daisy Head and others.

The released theatrical poster shows the characters of the film from Chris Pine to Hugh Grant, however, overshadowed by a Red Wizard of Thay. The red wizards are a powerful group of magic users that wish to turn the Forgotten Realms into a place where the undead will rule the realms.

Along with the poster, the creators have also released a special video, going behind the scenes where the actors tell their own experiences and perspective of playing the characters. As Chris Pine says, “Dungeons & Dragons is that classic hero’s journey about a ragtag group of misfits.”

While Michelle Rodriguez says that – It’s about finding your own hero within. And each character has their own version of that journey. Hugh Grant defends his character by dissociating himself from the evil red wizard and shows a comical side of him in the film. Overall, the film looks like all fun and games where each actor brings a different nuance.
