We have chosen 7 Food Joints from the show that are a must-visit for all.

Dum Laga Ke India Must Visit Food Joints

Cafe Irani Chaii

Located in one of the cornet plots of Mumbai, Mumbai’s Cafe Irani Chaii is known to give its customers a wholesome Irani experience. The cafe offers a perfect blend of Persian and Indian cuisine.

Started in the 1900s, the cafe’s most popular dishes include Brun Maska, Salli Goti, Lagan Nu Custard and Berry Pulao.

Mumbai’s Khau Gully

What comes to your mind when someone says Mumbai?

Bollywood and Chaat! Named by Ranveer Brar as the “refuelling station of Mumbai”, Khau Gully is a one-stop destination for all street food lovers. The place, according to the host, has the energy of dreams.

The place gives a perfect glimpse into the fast-paced life of the city. There is no corner of Mumbai which does not have its Khau Gully. So on your next vacation, make sure you visit Khau Gully to get a taste of the Mumbai life.

Highway Gomantak

Started in 1991 by Shashikala and Ramesh Potnis, Highway Gomantak is Brar’s top pick if you are a tourist craving ‘ghar ka khaana’. The restaurant is located in East Bandra and is home to its owners. Highway Gomantak serves home-cooked authentic Konkani food and is known to be in the Top 3 restaurants for Seafood in Mumbai.

In the words of Ranveer Brar, “Food transcends people, emotionally and spiritually.” So, if you are looking for a transcendental food experience, you cannot miss Highway Gomantak.

Nimrah Cafe and Bakery

Located at Charminar Road, this cafe is Brar’s pick for Irani chai and Osmania biscuits. Originally meant to be an ‘easy-to-digest’ food for patients in the Osmanian hospital, the Osmania biscuit is now one of Hyderabad’s most popular food items.

Hotel Niagara

Who hasn’t heard about Hyderabadi Biryani? Ranveer takes us to an age-old Biryani place, Hotel Niagara at Chaderghat Road, Hyderabad.
Established in 1952, this hotel started selling biryani at 75 paise per plate and still prepares the dish in its authentic form. Not just Biryani, Niagara also serves a variety of traditional Mughlai cuisine. So, if you are a non-vegetarian who loves traditional Mughlai, you cannot miss this place!

Maharaja’s Chaat Centre

Don’t get confused. This is not a full-fledged restaurant but a small stall in Kolkata, set up by a Bong, Dilip Da, who is Ranveer Brar-approved if you want to have the best Puchkas.

Mavalli Tiffin Rooms

Located in Lal Bagh Main Road, Mavalli Tiffin Rooms/MTR is the birthplace of Rava Idli. The place has both the ingredients of perfect food, history and taste. It’s the perfect hangout joint for youngsters as well as the elderly.

Brar’s ‘mad energy’ upon reaching the place has convinced us that this place is a must-visit on our next trip to Bengaluru. The next time you visit Bengaluru, try MTR’s Rava Idli and Filter Coffee and thank us later.

Dum Laga Ke India is currently streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
