The new Santo trailer sets the pace of the upcoming Spanish thriller within its first few seconds. It will be focused on the Spanish and Brazillian terrain and will be released by Netflix.
Netflix has succinctly revealed the official synopsis of the series, “Two cops on opposite sides of the Atlantic engage in a desperate hunt for a vicious international drug dealer whose face has never been revealed.”
Starring Raul Arevalo, Greta Fernandez, Victoria Guerra, and many more, the series will be covering the ground with eight chapters to be released over the season. It sets out to establish the reputation of “the most wanted narco in Brazil”, feared by all. Not much is known about him except what he’s called and that he’s situated in Madrid. Leaving behind his fatal signature, he haunts his victims even in his absence. And yet, not a soul has seen his face.

Like most cults and organizations, Santo’s followers don’t view him as a mere drug lord. They believe in him with the utmost dedication and look up to him as if he were a god. Furthermore, the latest trailer of the Netflix original series announced the theme of the show as “Evil knows no bounds”, which only heightens the viewers’ anticipation. A montage unfolds explosions, gun fights, and chaos, all while the police chase the man with no face.
One can look forward to a lot of bloodshed, betrayal, angst, and suffering in the upcoming crime thriller. Spanish narco dramas have been doing quite the rounds and Netflix anyway can be expected to bring the heat and its A-game in such scenarios. Santo is bound to take us on a ride with all sorts of twists and turns while leaving us astounded as we desperately await the big reveal.
