Extraordinary Attorney Woo: Kang Ki-young Tests Covid Positive, Won’t Join Star Cast on Trip

As the cast members of the ongoing Kdrama Extraordinary Attorney Woo head onto their well-earned trip to Bali, Indonesia, some cast members will be unable to be a part of this relaxing vacation. Among them is actor Kang Ki-young who plays the beloved role of Jung Myung-seok, who was scheduled to leave with the group today.

The actor was reported to have tested positive for COVID-19 right before the schedule due to which he could not join the crew on this trip. His agency Namoo Actors made a public statement on social media informing about the situation.

According to his agency, The Extraordinary Attorney Woo actor had crossed paths with someone who was diagnosed COVID positive. He then used a self-testing kit which gave him positive results. He later confirmed this with a rapid antigen test. While Kang Ki-young has no symptoms, his schedule is put on hold as he focuses on recovering.

Kang Ki-young is not the only cast member who will not be joining this trip. Kang Tae-oh has also not joined the trip due to his upcoming military enlistment. Earlier today, Park Eun-bin, Ha Yoon Kyung and Joo Jong Hyuk were seen leaving for the vacation and will be joined by the director Yoo In Sik as well.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo (이상한 변호사 우영우) is a legal Korean series that revolves around a lawyer with an autism spectrum disorder. The story follows her journey as she steps into one of the biggest law firms, taking up cases that she resolves in her own peculiar way. 

The show has been breaking rating records since its release and has become one of the most exciting ongoing dramas right now. As the show slowly reaches its end, fans are not ready to let go of this beloved series.
