Amazon Prime Video seems to be upping its romantic drama game this month. After the release of The Summer I Turned Pretty, which is resonating well with the audiences, the OTT platform is set to release another title in the romantic genre called My Fake Boyfriend. A queer romantic comedy, the film is directed by acclaimed director Rose Troche and written by Luke Albright, Joe Wanjai Ross, and Greg Boaldin.

IMDb’s official synopsis of the premise reads: “In the film, a young man in a tricky situation (Keiynan Lonsdale) follows the advice of his unconventional best friend (Dylan Sprouse) and uses social media to create a fake boyfriend to keep his awful ex-lover out of his life.
