Under the Banner of Heaven Episode 4 is the next episode scheduled to air for Hulu’s true-crime drama miniseries based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Jon Krakauer. The story is adapted into a screenplay for television by Dustin Lance Black and directed by David Mackenzie. Andrew Garfield plays Detective Jeb Pyre in the series along with Sam Worthington as Ron Lafferty, Daisy Edgar-Jones as Brenda Lafferty, Denise Gough as Dianna Lafferty, Wyatt Russell as Dan Lafferty, Billy Howle as Allen Lafferty, Chloe Pirrie as Matilda Lafferty, Seth Numrich as Robin Lafferty, Adelaide Clemens as Rebecca Pyre, Rory Culkin as Samuel Lafferty, Sandra Seacat as Josie Pyre and Gil Birmingham as Detective Bill Taba.
In the third episode of Under the Banner of Heaven, we were introduced to Samuel Lafferty, his wife Sara and their children. Thus, Jeb Pyre’s suspect list keeps growing along with his doubt about the Church he is a part of. The staunch Mormonism was highlighted more with the mania that overcame the brothers in regards to paying taxes to the government, which also resulted in Allen getting arrested in the past and, Brenda confronting the men of the family and falling into their bad books.

The Under the Banner of Heaven Episode 4 preview is out now, giving us a snippet of what we are onto next. Well, looks like Jeb’s in for some work-place pressure from his superior to not tarnish the Church’s name by telling the truth. We are also going to see how Robin was doing business with the FLDS, which might have gotten him into more trouble than he realized.

A flashback segment in the preview video shows us a prison setting with Dan, Ron, Allen and Robin sitting together. We hear Dan trying to convince Allen that having multiple wives is necessary to enter God’s Celestial Kingdom, which makes Ron angry.
