Love Of Kill Episode 11 Overview
Love Of Kill, or Koroshi Ai as it is known in original Japanese, is an action and romance anime that’s airing as part of the Winter Anime 2022 season. It is an adaptation of a Manga of the same name written by author Fe and is being adapted for the medium by the studio Platinum Vision. Platinum Vision has made several action and romance anime in its past, including Servamp and Devil’s Line.
The anime is being directed by Hideaki Ooba, a veteran of the industry who has been involved with the productions of D.Gray Man and Hunter X Hunter Greed Island. Love Of Kill Episode 11 Review- Should Have Started With This
This was a fantastic episode and stood heads and shoulders above most of this show’s offerings so far. The show is finally answering all of the questions and breaking down all the walls that it had put up from the start, and it is a satisfactory reveal that answers mostly all of what we wanted to know about the show. It feels more polished and tighter than it has in the past, and the difference is so stark that one begins to wonder if this should have been the show’s direction throughout all this time, just the tale of a runaway boy.

We can’t talk about much that happened here because of the spoiler rule, so let’s focus on what we learned in the previous episode. We already knew that the Song we knew wasn’t the real Song and that he knew what happened to the previous Song. Also, from the previous flashbacks of Chateau’s past, we learned that the real Song perished in the car accident that Chateau was found in. We needed to know where the Song that we knew fit into this story, and now we know.
However, there is still a problem that the show faces. The link between the past and the present is entirely too chaotic in the show, and the thing that combines both of them seems to be absent. We know of their past, but we don’t really know why that is important. We know that there are people after Song and that his life is put in danger because of it, but its links to Chateau and his past seem sketchy and unreliable at best, and it is not supposed to feel this way.

The fact that these two parts seem disconnected from each other is absurd, especially since there are a large number of connections that we can already see. Song’s kidnappings, the man who we saw in Song’s past, Chateau’s connection to the car and Song’s dead body found within it, and the assassins who want to know about the two Songs. The thing that feels different is that the direction the show went from the start doesn’t seem to be one that it veered into, and thus the tones and the environment of these two halves feel alien and disconnected.
But that’s only a minor nitpick when it comes to this episode since Love Of Kill Episode 11 was suitably tense, dark, and emotional to serve as the apex of the series. The story it told of confusion and trying to fulfil one’s duty in the face of immense danger was great. The relationship between Song and other Song is very complex and realistic, to the point that there could have easily been a spin-off series starring just the two of them. It almost makes you wish that the series was about them instead, but alas.
Verdict
Love Of Kill Episode 11 was a fantastic outing that explained a lot about how we got where we got to and gave the scenes the emotional weight they deserved.
