24th September is right around the corner and we cannot contain all our feelings for the upcoming BTS x Coldplay collaboration ‘My Universe’. Until now, we were privy to the neon blue and pink teaser image and a preview video of all the members jamming together. However, Coldplay just dropped the ‘My Universe’ teaser and it seems to have liberated us all.

The new teaser is a lyrical video giving us a glimpse of what ‘My Universe’ is going to be like!
What does the new teaser reveal?
The lyric video opens with the visual of a pair of eyes emitting all the right neon shades the teaser image-guided us to. It is somehow psychedelic in nature and gives off a trippy vibe. The lyrics “And they said that we can’t be together. Because we come from different sides. You are My Universe and I just want to put you first” flood the screen with some fantastic animation, all written in iridescent colours against a blank canvas.
ColdTan fans have taken over the internet to express their love and excitement for these two popular bands’ collaboration.

What’s more about BTS and Coldplay?
Recently, BTS members were at the UN Assembly and talked about saving the environment at the 76th United Nations General Assembly. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and V share their thoughts at the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Moment of the gathering.
As reported by IANS, RM talked about the current generation and also environmental challenges. He said, “We’re here today to share the stories of our future generation. Before we came here, we asked the young people in their teens and 20s around the world about their past two years and about the world they find themselves in today.”

“There are many young people who have an interest in environmental issues and choose it as their field of study. The future is unexplored territory and that’s where we, more than anyone, will spend our time,” RM added.
As for Coldplay, they have their upcoming studio album ‘Music Of The Spheres’ coming out in October. Additionally, for ‘My Universe’ every purchase of it on the Coldplay Store, there will be one tree planted which gives a heartfelt and meaningful side to the collaboration.
